Best deal ever: A few years ago, when the Food Lion in Lake City was closing, I bought over $500 or groceries and supplies for $100.
My favorite super steal was my first super steal. While I was visiting my aunt in Philly (which has no sales tax), I went shopping to buy my prom dress. I remember go to one of the anchor stores (I think it was Macy’s) to buy a dress. I found a fantastic dress, which happened to be on sale. But they were also having some other promotions that day. In the end, I spent around $3.50 for a dress that originally was over a hundred dollars.
I follow you on facebook and signed up for emails. My best steal was 7 boxes of cereal for $6 with in-store sales and coupons!!!
I won a Tassimo Brewer through their Facebook contest a few months ago! Definitely my biggest freebie to date!
My favorite super steal was getting $800 worth of CVS items (in one year) for only $80. Woohoo! Thank you for this giveaway opportunity!
I actually just got back from Kroger on my lunch hour, and used that $3 off any ONE Panko product coupon that was out last week…they were on sale for $1.65, so I just got one and HOPED for the overage…ya never know which checkers will do it or not! When I checked out and she used the coupon, she told me to go and get another box even though the coupon said ONE, since the coupon was for $3…so I got 2 boxes for $.30! Great deal!
Last weekend my victoria’s secret reward card was worth $50!!
There should be a LOVE THIS instead of like
Most memorable super steal was getting over $200 worth of groceries for $98. I was new to couponing so I was beyond excited! :-B
My best deal was getting bags of the frozen Steam Fresh veggies from Birds eye for $.50 a piece! They are originally $1.79 a bag in my local store.
My best steal ever was after in-store discounts and coupons my total was $100, but I only paid $50 for groceries.

I added you to follow you on twitter and I have liked super steals on facebook.
My favorite super steal is Freecycle. A few years ago, after I got divorced (and almost everything I owned got ruined with water damage in storage and no, i did not get the insurance because it was only going to be there for a week) I was truly broke and had no money to purchase many of the normal ordinary things a person with two kids needed like a bed for my son, a microwave, etc. Freecycle is amazing. It is a collaborative of people who want to keep stuff out of landfills while helping others save money via trade. everything is free. From Freecycle, I have been able to get a free microwave (brand new too! worth over $150), a arm’s reach co-sleeper (almost new and worth at least $100), books, toys, clothing, storage bins, dressers, etc. the list could go on. The amazing thing is that almost everything is well taken care of and, what isn’t, the people on the site normally tell you, so you know what you are getting into. So, when I need stuff, before shelling out $$ I check on freecycle. And it goes the other way as well – I have given away lots of things I do not use to people who can use them.
I follow you on Facebook. My favorite savings so far was this Christmas I got 8 shirts from old navy for $50!
I bought several things at Wal-mart and through price matching/coupons, I spent 11 cents.

So many super steals but one of my favorites is the Golden Eagle pass to the US National Parks for senior citizens. $10 for free admission to all parks for the rest of your life and also for anyone in the car with you.
I liked $uper $teals on fb. Probably one of the best ever steals we found was a $50 Lego set clearanced out at $10 at good ole Wal-mart. My son and I were both very excited. He is a huge Lego fan and Legos aren’t cheap. Plus, it was a Lego set that he had wanted! There were two sets, so we scooped them both up and gave the other one to his best friend for his birthday!
I “liked” on FB and my best to date was old navy- my total came to almost $300 retail and after extra coupons and sales my total was $0.55. The cashier made it extra special – all cashiers stopped what they were doing and applauded me
My biggest steal ever was my first couponing trip. I got $150 worth of groceries for $80! I was super excited!!!
Best deal yet: Shopping for Christmas using online coupon codes
I stumbled across Knock Off Wood on facebook and Ana White’s blog on building furniture. I’ve been busy creating Christmas gifts for my kids that cost a fraction of the cost of buying them retail and (hopefully) they will mean more to them in the end.
Money Saving Mom has taught me so much about saving money and time so I’m really eager to read her book. I have my fingers crossed that I luck out and win this contest!
Liked you on facebook and signed up for e-mails. My best deal was getting a shower curtain for $3, it was on clearance for 80% off and then I had a 30% off coupon. That and some stuff from the dollar store and I have a bathroom makeover for under $10.
Well… I don’t have a lot of experience with couponing and the like, BUT I really am looking for some help in getting started, which is exactly why I need this book.
(And I liked you on facebook!)
My favorite super steals were when I was FINALLY able to shave for almost-free using high-value coupons on shaving cream and razor blades. Was able to pair a store coupon and manufacturer’s coupon (1.50 each) with a sale on shaving cream at CVS. I think the sale price was 2.99, regular 4.99. The first time I went, the shelf was empty so I got a raincheck (no expiration date) and came back to take advantage of the deal! Ended up getting three free shaving creams. Next was a $6/2 coupon on razor blades. Was able to pair this coupon with a buy one/get one sale. Basically got four packages of razors for the price of one! My legs look a lot better now that I shave them for almost-free!
Just before school started this year, I scored 7 jars of Skippy Natural Peanut Butter and 8 boxes of Caprisun for $.17/each. This was done with stacking coupons and sales at Meijer during the end of August. Needed staples when funds are so tight this year.

My best super steals have always been at CVS…I usually end up saving 70-80% when I go (I can’t remember one particular time, though)! Basically has paid for Christmas presents!

Hard to pick just one of my best deals, but when I first started couponing I found a bunch of Wisk laundry bottles clearanced for $2.75 and I had a bunch of $2 off coupons. That was my first “great” deal with coupons.

I ordered in 125 coupons on a clipping site for $2.00 off of one box and got 125 boxes of tampons for a total of $2.50 plus the 5% surcharge of 12 cents.
So for $2.62 I was able to supply female soldiers in my husband’s unit and other units with female supplies. I will continue to keep my eye for this sale again.

I am pretty new to couponing and all the great deals people have been doing. My best deal was probably when I impressed my husband at Rite Aid when I got over $40 in items for $2.69! Before we got there he said that coupons were a waste of time, when we were done, he said…”what else can we save on”

My best deal was when I got about $80 worth of cover girl makeup and dove chocolate bars for less than $3.00! It was so much fun and my best deal ever and since!! Make me reaffirm my couponing, since I have a hard time saving on food purchases at my local stores. I’m trying and trying to get more into coupons and help my family save and pay off the house.
My husband and I have committed to being very disciplined in our spending and saving. In 3 years we should be debt free, except the mortgage. This has been a BIG change for us, but we are finding helpful and encouraging information in places like your posts. It is good to know that others have and are doing it, and feeling more freedom due to their planning and managing of finances. Thank you for your help.
Our best deal was getting camera gear for my husband’s hobby. He got over $350 worth of camera equipment for $75 by following up on a newspaper ad. Lance’s hobby has turned into a side job. The revenue from this purchase has not only paid for the investment times over, but helped my husband to see a new career in the making. Follow your dreams!!

I would say today actually!!!!!! Went to Walgreens (my favorite place) to purchase some odds and ends. I spent $40 and saved $35!!!! Did you know that Brachs candy corn bags are .50 right now.?!?!
I liked you on FB.
There are so many items that I have been able to pay a great reduced price for but I think that one of my faves would be the Purex laundry soap. I’m almost out of my homemade soap, so this falling in my lap was awesome! The Purex was on sale for $1.99 and I had 6 $3.00 coupons! They paid for my other groceries and my laundry to be done. It was a rush for sure.
All in all, I have a stock in the bathrooms, freezer, pantry and one shelf in the garage from coupons that I paid a lot less for and we have been able to pay off $5000 in debt so far this year. Yay!
I am now following you on FB. There is nothing better to me than finding great money saving deals and so I admit without shame I am a frugal money saving Momma=-]] When I first started couponing…I went into the store with sales ad in hand, coupons, and list, when I came out I was amazed at what I saved. Since that day only a few months ago I coupon on every shopping trip and only wished I had done it years ago. Love my coupons for they truly do help with my family of 5.
I think my favorite $uper $teal has to be my first big couponing experience, getting 30 boxes of pasta for $0.00 OOP! Since that was the catalyst that got me hooked on couponing and spurred me on to start teaching coupon classes it’s a winner in my book! Now I score $uper $teals on a regular basis and LOVE it! So proud of my husband too…he’s saved his business several thousands of dollars this year by using coupons for job materials. Also, we’ve been waiting and holding out for over a year to find a $uper $teal on a new kitchen faucet. Today my hubby snagged a really nice $168 faucet on clearance at Lowe’s for $10.78!!!

When I was about 15 we just moved to the country and we wanted to make our new house home and enjoy the woods around us so we dug up our own tree for Christmas! It was not the right kind of tree though and left its dry stickers in the carpet for weeks. It was frugal though, good exercise and fun!
Thanks for the giveaway! I liked you on Facebook. One great deal was a few years ago when Walgreens “paid” me for buying Crest toothpaste, loved it!
Of coarse I ‘like’ super steals on fb
just thinking of a great deal that I got yesterday makes me so excited! I needed a dress for my husbands Christmas party for his work. I generally don’t ever gt things like this, and I was unable to find one for the right place online. I headed to the mall to visit JCPenny’s. I got an amazing dress off of the clearence rack for $34.99, and I had a coupon for $15 off. So…. I paid $19.99, and I think that between me and my sisters, I will have everything that I need. It is so wonderful to have it all together or that price, and I can wear it again to any other parties.
my favorite steal was when we found a vera wang dress that was given to my daughter for prom by a group of women who got donations from stores that were models they would of thrown away since they were discontinued. She looked gorgeuous in too
My best deal was when i used coupons and got chips for free
I don’t have a super steal to share – I am learning. However, about 15 years ago I was shopping and the store was marking down some house hold items (blenders, mixers, etc.), I found a puree machine that was marked to $5 – it was supposed to be $25. I actually picked up three to give as a gift. I got all three for a total of $15.

OK hmm, my best deal ever, so far? It would probably be when I got $30 from PlumDistrict.com for free. I was collecting codes and sitting on them patiently when one day, they had a gift card for Learning Resources for $15 ($30 value) I snatched it up with my sign up credit and bonus credit I had got for a code found by moneysavingmom. I didn’t even realize I had e-coupons loaded on my card for items I was purchasing and in the end, Giant Eagle PAID ME! In the end I was paid to get 2 boxes of cereal and 2 boxes of fruit snacks!

I would love to win this Money Saving Mom’s Budgeet book! Especially since our family of 5 (actually 6 but our oldest is serving in the army currently) is on such a strict budget, my husband is a pastor of a small church (less than 25) and sometimes he doesn’t get a paycheck. We need all the help we can get! My best super steal was I was online and found a coupon for Zyrtec for $5 off and I went to CVS found a 5 pack for $5…my first Freebie ever! Then when I was at the checkout they gave me a $5 off rewards..so I came back home printed another $5 coupon, went back to the store and bought two more packets of Zyrtec (5 of them) for FREE! $15 worth of OTC allery meds for NOTHING!!
I don’t do FB but I would still LOVE to win!

I liked you on Facebook. I honestly can not think of a super steal right now. I try to be frugal in way we do but super steals aren’t really something that really happens for me yet. I guess for us the best super steal recently was bartering for professional help in redoing our gas system in the house from LP to Natural Gas and not paying for the labor because we traded labor for labor. Savings of about $400 – $600.

Hope I win a book! Thank you for all of your DIY’ s and how to be frugal.
My favorite super steal has been buying a super cheap zoo and science center pass from back home. Well, since they belong to the zoo association and astc association, I get in free or at least at a reduced rate across the United States. Many, many zoos and science centers belong so I have saved way over $700 in the last year. I’m sure I will surpass that amount next year! I love getting in free everywhere! There is another one that is even cheaper that works across the United States at this address (of which I have no affiliation – other than the fact that we are a family traveling on the road in our older RV): http://www.familiesontheroad.com/explorations.html
By the way, I am following you on Facebook and I’ve signed up for your emails; however, I don’t have twitter! I’m even recommending you to my friends!

recently I spent $200 at Old Navy when they had their buy one get the second item 75% off. They will adjust your receipt within 14 days of purchase if any items on your receipt has gone on sale. I got a credit of $72 when I went in to get an adjustment.
Liked you on fbook. My best deal would be my cmas gifts this year. For my daughter, I got her 2 dress up outfits (alice in wonderland dress and a superwhy outfit), a princess tent and a princess puzzle book for about $13. The outfits were on clearance, the tent I had a $10 credit so it would have been $13 but the site was having trouble and it took forever to get so they refunded all my money. Then the puzzle book was on sale for $3! Plus I used 10 off 10 coupons for JCP and got 3 free gifts for people that way. I got 2 free photo books for the grandparents and free photo mugs for the great grandparents. Saved us a ton of money!
I just liked your Facebook page. Well up until this week my biggest steal was getting overage at CVS for buying soft drinks! But I just won $500 worth of camping gear for entering a blog contest, so that has to be the best yet.

I liked you on Facebook. My best Super Steal: I was given alot of hand-me-down baby boy clothes by friends and family when I had my son. When my son outgorws them I label everything and box them up. I rotate the boxes around thru my friends/family. I have rotated the boxes thru about 8 friends/family and will have all the clothes if/when I have another boy.
My most memorable super steal (so far) was when I got 2 boxes of cereal and a half gallon of milk for free! If you bought 2 boxes of cereal you got a free half gallon of milk. The cereal was buy one, get one free, and I got the first box of cereal free by combining a store coupon with a manufacturers coupon.
i like you on facebook (cassie k graham) …. my fave freebie is tough to choose! full size dishwashing liquid, free tshirt from wendys that is SO COMFY, and some nice venus razors
My best “Super Steal” so far would have to be a top I bought a fancy childrens clothing store. I paid $10 and saved $54 on it!! By far the biggest savings I’ve had! And its lasted me a couple of years, too!
My best steal ever was teaching pilates for 7 days at an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica in exchange for free accomodations/food/drinks for me and my husband. We paid our own airfare and booked through Fitness Pro Travel. They charge a very reasonable booking fee. I paid them a fee of $350 plus $150 into a gift fund for the resort. So, for $500 plus airfare my husband and I stayed in an amazing room with a beautiful view and enjoyed fabulous food and many included excursions for a week. It was the best vacation we ever had. I taught two pilates classes a day – the rest of my time I was treated just like any other paying guest at the resort.
I forgot to mention in my previous post that I liked you on Facebook.
